Korean Food

Today I'm going to talk about Korean Food, Korean food is the most delicious food other than Chinese food and also Japanese food. Korean food has character in it as compare to Chinese and Japanese food, the taste of Korean food is known to be calm, zesty, and unforgettable. Korean food is healthy too because most of their food derives from vegetables and they uses a very minimal oil to prepare their food.

I'm going to introduce you a side which name "Si-Geum-Chi-Na-Mul" or in Hangul 시금치나물, this dish is full of Vitamin B because the main ingredient of this side dish is spinach.

here's the great deliciously good Si-Geum-Chi-Na-Mul that I cooked, no recipe will be provided because this is my own secret recipe. You can go online and look for the recipe but is all generally the same but the technique is how you cook it, timing is very important and ingredient.

Korean Food!!!

Is been awhile since I last posted my blog, so this time I will be telling you about 한국식사 (Korean Food) that i cooked yesterday for my 아침식사, 점심식사 and 저녁식사 (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).

Beneath are the Korean Food that I cook yesterday, have a look first than I will explain to you.

This is 김치 소고기볶음밥(Kimchi Fried Rice with beef)

This is 파전(Pa Jeon) serve with 김치(Kimchi) as condiment

This is 순두부찌개(Sun-Du-Bu-Jji-Gae)

The first food is Kimchi Fried Rice with Beef, Kimchi Fried Rice is a daily food for Koreans, it is as common as our normal Fried Rice. Usually Koreans uses leftover rice and store it in the refrigerator and use "Aged" or well fermented Kimchi to cook this dish, it is a healthy food in did because the ingredient is Kimchi, Rice, Onion, Garlic and meat.

Secondly is Pa Jeon, I know it's not an English word so let me explain what this Pa Jeon is. Pa Jeon is actually Spring Onion Pancake, it is very different from the western ones because the cooking technique and also the ingredient too. Western Pancake usually serve with Jam, Honey or Syrup as condiment but for Koreans, they ate their deliciously good pancake with Soy Sauce mix with Vinegar, Sesame Oil, Hot Pepper Flakes and some water. Sometimes this dish is also accompany by an alcoholic drink which is 막걸리(Mak-Geol-Li) it is a rice base wine, it is different from the Japanese Sake because it is milkier and taste sweet.

And the last Korean Food i cooked is Sun-Du-Bu-Jji-Gae, actually this dish is Tofu Stew. I find that English can't fully express what the Koreans intended to be but anyway, this Tofu Stew is not spicy although the colour of the soup is red colour. This is because the Kimchi gives it fiery red, this dish is also a very common food in Korea, It is usually eaten alone or shared. This stew will automatically serve with other Banchan or side dishes. I recommend this dish to those who can't take spicy food, the ingredient of this stew is Kimchi, Tofu, Egg, Meat and Onion, Garlic and Vegetables is very healthy and heart warming during winter.

roaming the streets of Sri Rampai pasar malam alone again

today went pasar malam alone again, actually i don't have to because of something so i have to go alone, but anyway i'm used to it.As usual i will go to the Korean stall to get some good and delicious 비빔냉면(Bibimnengmyun) but unfortunately they stop selling already due to God knows the reason, so i brought a small box of 김치(kimchi) cost me around RM5 per box. then later on I walk to the end of the streets to have some Pan Mee.

To my surprise, while i was on the way i saw a lot of pirated DVDs stall starts to close down at around 8pm i wonder why? maybe they got notice that the police is on it's way? I'm not sure about that.

Today i also discover a delicacy that has been a while since i have it but is not as good as what i had before where my grandma brought for me, the name of the food is 碗仔糕(WunZhaiGou) it is a Cantonese delicacy where you seldom come across of it and it cost me around RM2.

Haunted by the Past

Can't sleep right now, i don't know why i still can't foget about her. I still think about her, arhh!!! this time the memories are back, how we meet and the things we did together. maybe I think too much or what, I told her once that I will love her forever and i would.

HURT

Saw a movie today, it was A Millionaire First Love. A Korean movie, not bad though it deserve a round of applause. but as was watching the movie, it reflects back to my past. so it hurts my heart. Tomorrow is my birthday, i should be very excited and happy at the same time but y my heart hurts? My heart is bleeding and why people still put salt on it, this is the saddest part of my life.
